Film-poster analysis



  • Has the two main characters as the main focus of the poster.
  • Simple use of images.
  • Simple but effective font.
  • The characters have got a white glow around them which makes it almost angelic and holy.
  • Quite light colours to make it seem happy.
  • The image shows a very loved up.
  • The title is in capital writing to make it stand out and be the second main focus point.


  • This poster shows two different images 
  • One of the main character and one him and his brother.
  • really light and bright colours.
  • Slogan "Life is for living".
  • Main character is the main focus of the poster as he is the first thing you see on the poster.
  • Shows that he could be thinking of what could of been in the top picture as its two younger boys in the bottom picture.
  • Two people about to kiss as the main focus of the poster as they are the first thing you see.
  • the lighting is quite dark around them but light on their clothes and around their faces.
  • Quite a simple image but says a lot about the way the couple feel about each other.
  • The title of the film is quite small but is noticeable and the second thing you notice on the poster.
  • Shows a very intimate picture which instantly suggests that it is a romance film.
